Columbia has posted its new application, Kellogg followed suit earlier this week, and today, Haas. INSEAD revised their application/prompts a few months ago. Every summer, I analyze the prompts for 24 different schools, mostly in the United States plus London Business School and INSEAD. I make those notes available to anyone who asks for them, and they’re a good way to get an overview of what the schools are looking for, and why they frame their prompts the way they do.
Come back here for those updates, and for other insights. In addition to talking about school prompts, I’m planning to dive into the use of AI/chatGPT in applications as well as write about some perennially-favorite topics like figuring out goals and choosing recommenders.
As a side note: I haven’t been updating this website due to dealing with serious illnesses (not mine, but those of close family members).
